"If we can’t go to the Holy Land, we will bring the Holy Land to us.” Because of the pandemic, the annual pilgrimage to the Holy Land for Grand Priory USA knights and dames was cancelled. So, working with Fr. Peter Vasko, the third instalment in a series to bring the Holy Land to knights and dames worldwide is now available.
Please enjoy, "Walk and pray the via Dolorosa", hosted by Fr. Peter Vasko.
May we pray for all the wonderful people, that need our prayers and financial gifts, through the Jerusalem Mite, in the Holy Land during this time of the virus.
OSMTH joins with churches, governments, and civil society organisations around the world in marking Red Wednesday, 25 November 2020.
The colour red recalls our mourning for all Christians who suffer and die for their faithfulness to Christ’s message of peace and love.
OSMTH joins our voice with all people who are praying for suffering and persecuted Christians, and for all those people, of whatever faith, who are suffering discrimination, persecution, or loss of life, on account of their religious beliefs.

Grand Priory of Argentina: Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have tried to find a way to make our contribution to the emergency. The idea of manufacturing surgical masks was an initiative of our "Our Lady of Rosario" Preceptorie, based in the Province of Entre Ríos. We immediately support the project because the need was great. Through the voluntary contribution of textile workers from the City of Paraná (who donated their time), our Brothers managed to launch a production line, which although they produce on a small scale, has already allowed us to make the first donation of masks to the Military Hospital of Paraná. It should be noted that the Argentine Armed Forces are making a great effort to prepare for the peak of infection that is expected in the coming weeks. We look forward to continuing to donate masks to other hospitals and healthcare institutions. A second production line is in the works to increase the number of masks. This initiative is a financial priority for the Grand Priory to purchase raw materials, ensuring the continuity of production. Our "Fray Luis Beltrán" Commandery in the city of Buenos Aires, is also engaged in this effort and hopes to be able to deliver masks in the metropolitan area. |
